Jennifer Gruber A viscerally intimate album about staring down death that helped me through the death of my best friend. Few albums are more important to me. Favorite track: Calonyction Girl.

Giles What I love the most about Kayo Dot is that every record seems to take a certain bunch of reference points and uncover amazing new potential within each, but meanwhile the whole is in a new universe from the sum of its parts. I definitely hear some of the slow weird repetitive electric Miles (and his own influence, drugged out gloomy Sly Stone), but also classical minimalism, doomy drone, 80s pop... my fave album of theirs until I put on a different one! (amazing vocals also)
Alek Nyberg

Alek Nyberg David Lynch having a nightmare about electric Miles. Every note is damn near perfect, I love this record. Favorite track: Whisper Ineffable.
Ryan Pawling

Ryan Pawling Probably my favorite Kayo Dot album. There is something so real and sad about about it. One listen and you will carry it with you forever. Favorite track: Calonyction Girl.

Johnny K Incredibly haunting, sometimes outright disturbing, but very powerful Favorite track: Calonyction Girl.
